Zach  Stone, P.E.  is a professionally licensed engineer registered in the state of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a state ABET accredited university. Currently self-employed and exploring a variety of opportunities from engineering to educational leadership.

Experienced in the design, operation, and maintenance of 69kV Substation equipment, liquid-filled transformers, medium voltage to low voltage switchgear, medium voltage to low voltage motor control centers, measurement instrumentation & automation, process control valves, protection & coordination, and ACHA certified healthcare building design and construction.

Various roles include project management, maintenance supervision, design engineering, reliability centered maintenance (RCM), root cause analysis,  and mission-critical troubleshooting.

Special interests include web development and educational leadership.

Professional Engineering (P.E.) license awarded by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers after passing the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam (October 2014).

Emergency Medicine First Responder Training (EMR) Certificate issued by the American Heart Association (May 2016).

Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) issued by the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) (March 2015).

United Way of Central Florida Community Investment Team Member evaluated annual budget and funding allowance for local educational agency programs (2014 – 2015).

Certificate of Engineering in Training (E.I.T.) awarded by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers after passing the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (March 2011).

Electrical Engineering – Currently self-employed exploring various engineering opportunities in the state of Florida.

Educational Leadership and Web Development – Helping hundreds of aspiring professional electrical engineers pass the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam each year by building an online community and self-paced online review course with over +200 HD demonstration videos and +450 practice problems facilitated with the latest teaching technology and software.

Educational Leadership (Professional) – Currently working with a private online community to give weekly 3-hour live online seminars delivered by Webinar focusing on the fundamentals of electrical engineering to professionals in all 50 states.

Electrical Engineering – Employed by a Fortune 500 company in the mining and manufacturing industry in various roles focusing on the reliability-centered maintenance and operation of a 24-hour global chemical manufacturing and co-generation electrical power facility to increase safety, improve Overall Effectiveness (OEE), and reduce cost.

Electrical Engineering – Employed by a private company to procure ACHA approved construction documents, conduct site inspections, and carry out arc flash mitigation and coordination studies for statewide healthcare facilities.
